This is the documentation for reset allocation run in Macola.  Usually doing it by Trevor , Justin or Matt.


RESET ALLOCATIONS

**Make sure all users are out of ES**

1.      Sign onto the VPN

2.      Go to ibml-rds

3.      Login into Macola

4.      Go to System tab

5.      Utilities -> Distribution -> Inv. Mgt -> Reset Allocations

This process needs to be run for ‘ALL’ items by tabbing through the fields and ‘ALL’ locations by also tabbing through.

The preference ‘reset inventory trx?’ needs to be checked. If it is not checked the process is only reading the information and creating a report. It does not perform the reset function unless the preference is checked.

**Do not manually type in the word ALL into the fields** Doing so would be telling the process to look for item ‘ALL’ and location ‘ALL’.
