How to Change your Domain Password When at HQ
While you are logged into your computer press the key combo ctrl+alt+delete. You will be brought to the security screen. On this screen click “Change a password”
On the next screen, type your Old password. Then come up with a new password. The new password must be 10 characters long and must include Uppercase, Lowercase, Numbers and/or Special Symbol.
We suggest using a phrase/sentence for your login. Passphrases are much harder to crack and easier to remember. For example, you can use a music lyric or movie quote as your password ex. Wholetthed0gsout! NOTE- DO NOT USE THIS PASSWORD!
This password change will also affect your Office 365 account as well. So, when prompted, you will need to put in your new password and possibly re-authenticate with Microsoft.
Once you have typed your new password and confirmed the new password, click the arrow to start the change.
After a few moments your new password will be changed.
You may get a notification from Microsoft popup in the bottom right corner of your screen about needing your current credentials. Just lock your computer, login using your new password, and this will update the credentials on your Windows 10 computer.
